I’m always interested in reviewing new albums from the artists that influence my music so much…although you can hear my music very different form my influences there’s always a pattern or element swimming in my head at the time of my compositions that defines the direction of the song I like to make.
In this case I admire this artist form New York City, the one that got into this dance scene as a DJ spinning in some clubs of this great city and creating a career in music like a few artists can built…
I describe this album as a very sublime combination of melodic elements encompassing a true understanding of beauty…it brings you to an state of contemplation and devotion to something you feel as true.
That’s my journey when I travel through this songs, they really touch me in some way or another. In my opinion, MOBY has done it again and has achieved this touch of simplicity in beauty that I’ve been waiting for in a long time, maybe because it is the kind of melancholic sound I like so much.
There has been two albums that have changed my perception of the music creation process, one of them is “IN RAINBOWS” by RADIOHEAD and “WAIT FOR ME” by MOBY. They have opened my vision of atmospheric voyages into the basics of songwriting, artists that connect to the invisible intelligence and have brought a pure sense of sincerity in their songwriting.
I’d like to share a video for the song “Pale Horses” I know you’ll find this interesting…
Thank you
